General  Statements

POLICY AND PROCEDURE:

-Top sterilization and infection control in all areas of the office to prevent any cross contamination.

-No storage- but immediate delivery of bodily fluids to affiliated laboratories.

-Continuing medical and dental education required from all the staff.

-All patients seen with prior appointment- unless there is an emergency which will be accommodated as soon as possible.

-1 to 2 days are dedicated to surgery and dentistry, the rest dedicated to medicine.

-Worker’s compensation cases handled like regular patients but authorization for treatment and case number must be
sent by the adjuster in writing before any treatments are started.

-Personal injury cases handled similarly – A signed lien by patient and attorney must be signed before the treatments  can be started.

-All laboratory results, upon arrival are to be handed and reviewed by Dr. Keramati, signed and office staff needs to
make an appointment for the patient to come in to get the results, in person.

-Computers, faxes and files are accessible by employees only, received and sent out material are with adherence with HIPPA rules.
